The "Konus" plant produces hot-dip galvanizing of products using modern equipment of the Italian company "Gimeko" using the latest technology. Thorough preparation of the steel surface, including degreasing using surfactants, pickling, washing and fluxing, guarantees European quality coating.
Galvanization is carried out both externally and internally. High-tech new equipment allows galvanizing of unique structures weighing up to 6 tons after individual processing of the order by technologists. Overall dimensions of the galvanizing bath: (length x width x height) 15 × 1.8 × 3.5 m. The thickness of the zinc coating: from 40 to 200 microns
By the decision of the Lida City Executive Committee, the Belarusian Specialized Territorial Administration (BSTU) “Konus” was registered as the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise (RUPP) “Konus”.
RUPP “Konus” was transferred from the subordination of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of October 21, 2008. No. 1553 “On Amending the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of July 31, 2006 No. 980. ”
RUPP “Konus” became subordinate to the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Agricultural Mechanization” in pursuance of the Decree of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus dated July 9, 2009, goal No. 59 “On the transfer of republican unitary enterprises to scientific and practical centers”.
According to the Charter approved on September 30, 2009, the full name of the enterprise is the Republican Subsidiary Unitary Production Enterprise “Konus” of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization”.
In order to protect metals from corrosion, an investment project was created "Creating a production for the protection against corrosion of long metal structures by hot galvanizing." The State Enterprise "Konus" RUE "SPC NAS of Belarus for Agricultural Mechanization" was issued a certificate of conformity No. BY / 112 05.01.013 04124, which certifies that the quality management system in relation to the provision of services for hot-dip galvanizing of products and (or) metal structures from ferrous metal (by immersion in zinc metal melt) meets the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2015.
